We are proud of the work we do with local charities and not for profit organisations in Greater Manchester, Lancashire and Cheshire.

We are members of the Charity Practitioners Forum, a national association of accountants who specialise in work with small to medium sized charities, social enterprises and not for profit organisations.

Independent Examination

All registered charities with turnover between £25,000 and £1 million require an independent examination. As regulated and authorised accountants, we are able to carry out independent examinations for charities requiring this assurance.

Charity Accounts Preparation

We will prepare your income and expenditure accounts, statutory accounts (for limited company charities or CIC’s) or management accounts. We can also meet with you to discuss your organisations performance and offer valuable improvement suggestions and business advice.

Payroll

Payroll accounting can be a time consuming and complex task, especially with regulations changing on a regular basis. Accuracy is vital with payroll, therefore while we offer payroll as a service we use a reputable, 5 star company to process this on our behalf. This will include preparing your payroll, emailing payslips to directly to your employees and all year end reporting requirements.

Their software is compliant with auto-enrolment and they can take care of all the necessary paperwork for your new pension scheme.

Audit

We are partnered with a small firm of auditors and so are able to offer audit services to our charity clients.

Financial Process Improvements

If you are spending more than five minutes on a spreadsheet calculating your finances, there is a much quicker way of doing it. So much time is wasted on administrative activities, and many charities pay unnecessary fees for IT and finance assistance for work that can easily be done in-house.

We can review your processes to identify any financial risks and recommend improvements. If your processes are non existent or in a mess, don’t panic!. We have seen it all and we can help.
