CGT Returns for Property Sales

Since 6th April 2020 anyone selling UK residential property that gives rise to Capital Gains Tax needs report and pay the CGT within 60 days of completion.

How do you know if CGT arises?

Well, the first thing to know is that it’s not just something that is on second properties!

CGT can readily arise even if you own just one property, if you have not lived exclusively in that property throughout your entire period of ownership.

CCM are tax specialists and offer a fixed fee filing service, that reviews your position, calculates the tax, captures any mainstream allowance to which you are entitled to reduce your liability and files the tax return demanded by HMRC.

Just go to the Team Page now and book a call with one of our tax team - without obligation – to manage the demands of the government at the lowest cost to you.
